Hotel Pilates
My recent visit to the Fabulous Hythe Imperial Hotel with a little Pilates thrown in.
It was mine and the Hubby's 10 year anniversary last week (hurrah Us!) so we decided the occasion needed to be marked and celebrated.
A Client recommended the newly refurbished sea side Hotel The Hythe Imperial.
So we booked for a 2 night stay and were delighted to learn on arrival we'd been upgraded to the 'Hythe Suite' . Wow what a perfect space for 2 days of full chillaxing!! Beautiful floor to ceiling windows with a sea view. Decorated in calming grey tones fantastic comfy four poster bed with the most impressive bed side lights hanging from the ceiling I have ever seen.
The hotel has recently gone through a lovely refurb making it stylish and contemporary whilst it's historical routes are still firmly apparent. (Check out the Toilets!)
With two restaurants and a Moet Chandon Bar it has something for everyone.
We really made full use of the hotel eating in the fine dinning 'Coast' restaurant and the new Indian "The Holy Pundit' both of which were fantastic and with a Vegetarian Husband they had a fantastic choice and bend over backwards helpful staff in all.
There is also a really cute afternoon tea room which we didn't sample as we heard that if you partake in afternoon tea don't expect room for dinner! It looked lovely.
The spa was functional and treatments pleasant but it does appear that the Spa, Pool & Gym area might be next on the agenda for a makeover.
With such a massive peaceful room I of course made some time for Pilates, Yoga & Stretching allowing myself to truly relax and unwind.
We walked into Hythe and sampled a couple of the local pubs which also served great food and had a lovely walk along the seafront with the fortune of late summer sun.
Highly recommend
